On September 10, 2024, Rumi had the honour of hosting Berry Street’s largest event of the year - a special dinner celebrating the invaluable contributions of their foster carer volunteers. This particular evening was extra special, as it included a celebration of one household’s 40-year milestone of fostering. Berry Street, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to supporting children, young people, and families in need, making this event an important occasion to recognize the incredible generosity of their volunteers.

On Wednesday, 28th August 2024, Rumi Restaurant in Brunswick hosted a social gathering for the Inner Northern Local Learning and Employment Network (INLLEN) volunteer mentors. The event brought together 16 guests for an evening of camaraderie, delicious food, and warm hospitality. This event was a part of INLLEN's efforts to celebrate and appreciate their volunteer mentors who play a vital role in supporting local students.

Rumi hosted a corporate workshop for Alumni XX titled "Get It Done," attended by 25 guests. The event focused on productivity and team-building, integrating engaging workshop activities with exceptional catering to create a seamless and enriching experience.
